As Zetup signs a new main sponsorship agreement with the Alliansloppet roller ski race, the organisers have secured both an important part of their funding and a committed partner that makes a strong contribution to the professionalism of the whole event.
Alliansloppet takes place every year in Trollhättan. This summer the race will be held on 24-27 August. A number of sporting events of various kinds will take place over this period, with a focus on creating an event in which everyone can feel involved, elite athletes and keep-fit fans, old and young.
Saturday will see the grand final of the world’s longest roller skiing race, which is also part of the seeding process for the Vasaloppet ski race. The start will be packed with the global elite and recreational skiers. One new feature for this year is that Alliansloppet is the first and only roller skiing race to be part of Euroloppet, linking together a number of long-distance cross-country ski races in ten European countries.
As one of the main sponsors, Zetup is contributing both its commitment and funding to the event. Zetup and Alliansloppet are now reinforcing their partnership in a two-year contract with an option to extend.
“Zetup has been involved in supporting the event from day one and it’s now the eighth year that we’ve been involved. We know how important it is to get exercise, both for your physical health and to be able to perform intellectually. We are happy and proud to be able to contribute towards Alliansloppet’s initiative by promoting integration and increasing physical activity for children and young people”, says Mats Franzén, CEO of Zetup AB.
“It’s very positive to have Zetup involved in supporting Alliansloppet. We have the same outlook and drive to constantly develop and improve everything we do. Entering into a long-term contract will help us produce really good events now and in the future”, says Magnus Larsson, founder of Alliansloppet.
